# Fix the "User Not Found on Front" error

> Resolve the User Not Found on Front message when Scribe cannot match a teammate to a Front user account, with steps to fix sync mappings safely.

The **"User Not Found on Front"** message means Scribe could not locate a user account with a matching email address in [Front](/en/integrations/signatures/front-client-side). Until the addresses line up, Scribe can't install that teammate's signature in Front.

## Why this happens

Scribe matches each teammate to their Front account by email address. The error is raised when:

* The teammate's email in Scribe doesn't exactly match their email in Front — often a typo, an alias, or a different domain.
* The teammate doesn't have an active Front account.

## Resolution

    Open the teammate in Scribe and check that their email matches their Front email address **exactly** — same spelling, same domain, no alias.

    Fix the mismatched address in Scribe (or in Front) so both sides use the same email, then retry installing the signature.

  <Step title="Confirm the Front account is active">
    Make sure the teammate has an active Front account associated with that email address.
